1. Renegade Craft Fair Los Angeles

Come out and enjoy the breathtaking views of the stunning Los Angeles skyline while exploring selections of modern handmade goods as Renegade Crafts Fair returns to the recently re-opened iconic landmark that is Los Angeles State Historic Park. The fair will feature a carefully curated and diverse roster of local and national crafters and artisans as well as interactive features, a vibrant lineup of local food trucks, crafted drinks, DJ sets, DIY workshops and photo booths to give you a one-of-a-kind weekend shopping experience.

2. The 2017 Salsa Fest

Want to know the perfect place to spend your summer afternoons and have an amazing opportunity to spice up yours and your family's weekend? The 2017 Salsa Fest is happening in Pershing Square in Downtown LA and they're bringing a fun and cultural event with them! You'll find tons of delicious salsas to sample in the salsa tasting tent along with local food vendors offering their best selections throughout the festival. There will be live music, dancing, beer, sangria, and of course, margaritas!

3. Watson Adventures - The Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt

Are you up for a spooky adventure this weekend? Join The Haunted Hollywood Scavenger Hunt and get the chance to visit ghost-plagued buildings and haunted spots in the heart of Hollywood while learning stories about the restless souls you might disturb. 4. WET - W Hollywood Pool Party

Spend your summer afternoon lounging by the pool, or dancing and listening to music by some of LA's top DJs when you join one of Hollywood's most exclusive pool parties at W Hollywood.

5. Harry Potter™ - in Concert

Take the kids out for a one-of-a-kind movie experience this weekend as Hollywood Bowl puts a series of special screenings of the world renowned and much loved Harry Potter films on high definition big screen this weekend. What makes it unique? The LA Philharmonic and Justin Freer, conductor, will be performing John Williams' unforgettable music live-to-picture to make what is sure to be a very magical night.

6. Tiki Night

Travel to the tropics without actually leaving LA during this annual celebration of all things tiki as American Cinematheque hosts the party at the courtyard of the Egyptian Theater. Come out in the late afternoon for a tiki marketplace where you can find both new and vintage tiki-related art, memorabilia, clothing, accessories and more. There will be a fashion show, shaved ice, Polynesian dances and tiki-inspired cocktails and the night ends with a special screening of the 1994 film Rapa Nui.

7. The Los Angeles River: Connecting water & Art

Teach the kids love for sustainable environment by taking them to an event offered by the Friends of the Los Angeles River (FoLAR) about the "history and promise of rivers and art" at the LA River Rover - a mobile museum designed to give visitors interactive experience of the LA River's past, present, and potential futures. The event includes introductory workshops to watercolor painting, presentations on the history of art along the LA River, and sunset screenings of the new LA River documentary A Concrete River!

8. An Evening of Poetry and Performance

Call your friends and family for a night to remember! The Broad Stage in Santa Monica will feature Red Hen poets Brendan Constantine and t’ai freedom ford, as well as, the Los Angeles premiere of Imagination Dead Imagine as they bring music and literature together in a breath-taking performance.

9. Marvel Universe Live: Age of Heroes

Which kid nowadays does not love their superheroes? Here's their chance to watch their favorite superheroes live and in action as Marvel Universe Live! is taking the live entertainment experience to a whole new groundbreaking level with a mind-blowing stunt show. All the favorite heroes of the Guardians of the Galaxy will unite with the incredible superhuman forces of Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Panther, and Black Widow against the scheming Nebula who teams up with the conniving and loathsome villains, Loki and Green Goblin.

10. How Fast is Your Ducky?

Head out to Kidspace Children's Museum this weekend and spend the day splashing about for a great time of watery competition and lasting impressions. The 9th Annual Rubber Ducky races is their wackiest and quackiest event of the year where the kids can decorate their rubber ducks and then race them down the Arroyo Stream.
