Featuring the story Oh, the Places You'll Go, let your imagination bring you to places you would want to be. A fun filled, adventurous and educational bonding time that you can spend with your kids.

2. Cinespia

When: June 10, 8:30 pm

Where: Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Relive your favorite scene from The Wizard of Oz as you sit down and watch it in one of the most unconventional places to enjoy popcorn and hotdogs - The Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The doors will open at 7:15 pm,  movie starts at 9 pm.

3. Free Crafts for Kids 

When: Sat June 10, 11:00am to 3:00pm

Where: Every Lakeshore Learning Store hosts free crafts for kids every Saturday.

Upcoming Schedule: June 10: My Pet Parrot

Let your kids' creativity reign as they play with colors and canvasses while learning at the same time. In addition to the West Los Angeles store, Lakeshore Learning has locations in Carson, Northridge, Pasadena, Fountain Valley, Upland, and Ventura.

Please note that the West LA store ONLY holds the event on both Saturdays and Sundays.

4. Middleschoolandia

Where: Sacred Fools Theater, 1076 Lillian Way Los Angeles, CA 90038

Introduced as an irreverent new musical comedy, the play was written by Lost actor Victoria Goring and her 12-year-old Carson Goring. Middle schoolers can definitely relate, as the show features actual middle schoolers.

Featuring the songs such as “I’m only Twelve” and “The Profanity Song,” Middleschoolandia portrays the impossibility of making it through middle school unscathed.

5. Saturday Morning Stories and More

Every Saturday morning Children's Book World offers free children's entertainment. It's a story telling with entertainment and other activities. This weekend's schedule: Spanish Music Fun with Isabel Brazon.

6. Free Craft Lounge & Knitting Hangout

When: Saturday at 11:00 am 

Where: Camera Obscura Art Lab1450 Ocean Avenue, Corner of Ocean & Broadway, Santa Monica 

Artists and Crafters are invited to work on their projects in the company every second Saturday of the month. Sewing machines and art supplies are available for sharing and tables to spread out your work for your comfort. Knitters are encouraged to come a little later as most knitters usually come around 12 pm.

7. Art Without Walls: Wear Your Activism 

When: Saturday, June 10 and Sun Jun 11, 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Where: Hammer Museum 10899 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024

Kids can wear their beliefs and their art on their sleeves anywhere! With this workshop, your kids will design wearable art with slogans and symbols to support a cause that they believe in. Participants can take inspiration from Andrea Bowers, an artist who merges art and activism. This activity is recommended for children ages 5 and up and grownups.

8. Dance Sundays
